Microblading in Toronto. Natural, Defined Brows That Last
Microblading — often called eyebrow tattooing —is a semi-permanent eyebrow technique that uses a fine blade dipped in pigment to create delicate, hair-like strokes by gently etching the skin's surface. Each stroke mimics your natural brow color, thickness, and direction — resulting in a realistic, natural finish that lasts months.

How Microblading Works
The procedure is performed using a sterile hand tool fitted with an ultra-fine blade. I dip the blade in a custom-mixed pigment matched to your natural hair color, then create individual strokes that mimic the direction, thickness, and pattern of your real brow hairs.
Because the blade creates strokes of uniform thickness, microblading excels at subtle, natural-looking corrections. I place each stroke strategically to fill sparse areas, close small gaps, and gently correct asymmetry — all while preserving the natural character of your existing brows.
The pigment is deposited into the upper dermis (first layer of skin), which means there's no deep tissue trauma, minimal discomfort, and zero downtime. Most clients describe the sensation as a light scratching, rating it 2 out of 10 for discomfort.
Who Is Microblading For?
This service is perfect if you:
-
Have natural brow hairs but want to fill in sparse areas
-
Wish to correct minor asymmetries in shape
-
Desire defined yet natural-looking eyebrows without daily makeup
-
Have normal to dry skin (oily skin may benefit more from nanobrows)
How Long Does Microblading Last?
Results typically last between 6 and 24 months, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and skincare routine. Oily skin types may experience faster fading, while drier skin tends to retain pigment longer.
The procedure is completed in two sessions: the initial application and a touch-up after 30 days. The touch-up allows me to assess how your skin healed, reinforce any strokes that faded during healing, and make final adjustments to shape and color.
Microblading vs. Nanobrows
Choosing between microblading and nanobrows depends on your brow goals and skin type. Microblading uses a blade and is ideal for clients with existing brow hairs who want to fill in small gaps or correct minor asymmetries.
Nanobrows use a machine needle, which gives me more control over stroke thickness and pigment depth. This makes nanobrows the better choice for clients with sparse or overplucked brows, oily skin, or those who want more volume and definition.
Not sure which is right for you? During your session, I'll assess your brows and recommend the best technique for your specific case.
