Microblading or NanoBrows. What's the difference?

Updated: Dec 13, 2024

Both techniques are to enhance your brows. Let's dive into the differences between Microblading and Nanobrows:

Microblading, a technique that uses a blade and a hand tool. Since it involves a blade, the strokes created are of consistent thickness. This technique is particularly effective for filling in small gaps and addressing subtle asymmetries.

NanoBrows utilizes a machine and a needle to create strokes of varying thickness. This versatility allows me to create thinner strokes towards the beginning of the brow and thicker strokes towards the center. It is especially beneficial for brows that lack natural hairs and in need of a more extensive transformation.

As you can see in the images, strokes made in microblading are more natural, thin and subtle. Strokes made in nanobrows with the machine are done more freely according to the needs of the brow or if the client wants something stronger.

Your skin type will tell me which blade or needle to choose. Both techniques can be performed on all skin types if performed correctly. On my instagram @mayarapacini there's a highlight only of healed ones, in case you want to check how they look in the long run.

If you still have doubts about which technique to choose or which technique is best for you, send me a picture at contact@mayarapacini.co and I'll help you.

That's it, see you next time, tchau!
