Microblading Healing Process

Updated: Dec 13, 2024

Today I'm going to let you all know how it is the microblading healing process day by day. Here's what you can expect:

Day 1: Right after the procedure, your brows will start to look dark. Nothing extreme, I'm talking about 2 shades darker. Your skin can be more red, or sensitive, but that's totally normal. This happens because the skin has been hurt.

Days 2-4: Your brows will still look dark, you can feel the region a little swollen, and you might notice some scabbing starting. Whatever you do, resist the urge to pick at them! It could mess up the pigment and lead to patchy spots.

Days 5-10: The flaking and scabbing will continue, and you might start to feel a little itchy. Try not to scratch or rub the area, even though it's tempting. Just let your brows do their thing.

Days 11-15: The scabs will start to come off on their own, and your brows will start to look a little uneven, it will feel like everything has gone. Don't freak out! It's totally normal. The pigment will settle in over time.

Days 16-20: Your brows might look patchy or weird, but that's just part of the healing process. Keep following your aftercare instructions.

Days 21-30: Your eyebrows will start to look more natural, less harsh, and even. Yay! Just keep taking good care of them, and you'll soon have your second session to reinforce some strokes, or make the necessary adjustments.

Overall, the healing process can take 30 to 45 days, half external healing and half internal healing. So, be patient, and keep in mind that for the result to be 100% satisfactory, two sessions are necessary, which are already included.

I send this illustration to all my clients so they can follow along and not go crazy not knowing what's going on:
