How to shape eyebrows at home?

Step 1: Prep and Tools

Before you begin, gather the necessary tools: a mirror in good ambient light, concealer or a light eye pencil, tweezers and scissors.

Step 2: Assess and Locate Common Points

Step away from the mirror and take a moment to observe your eyebrows. Identify common points on both brows, such as the start, arch, and end. This will serve as a guide for creating symmetry. I found this photo on Google with the measurement points I use:

Step 3: Address Asymmetry

Now, it's time to address any noticeable differences between your eyebrows. For exemple, If one brow is noticeably higher, only remove a row of hair from the taller brow, and add one with makeup in the lower one. This subtle approach maintains a natural look.

Step 4: Delimit the Entire Shape

With the concealer, outline the entire shape. This step helps you visualize the final result before you start plucking.

Step 5: Approach the Mirror

Now, get close to the mirror and inspect your eyebrows. Focus on the hairs that have been colored by the concealer. These are the ones you'll want to remove to achieve the desired shape.

Step 6: Gentle Plucking and Trim.

Using the tweezers, carefully pluck the colored hairs. Be cautious not to over-pluck, as repeated plucking can lead to sparse regrowth. Take your time and regularly step back to assess your progress. Then brush all the hair upwards and cut only the ones that stand out, brush it downwards and do the same.
