About me

I'm Mayara. I'm Brazilian, a Cancer, my birthday is on July 13th. I was born in 1993, so I'm 31 years old. I'm the third of four siblings and spent most of my life in São Paulo, Brazil.

A Little About Me

I know how to do nail extensions, I'm also graduated as a flight attendant, and I have a 4 years degree in Advertising and Marketing. I worked in marketing for five years, but in January 2020, I decided to give up this Marketing career to do brows.

Moving to Toronto

My husband and I, along with our three cats—Marie, Makilele, and Mysterio—decided to move to Toronto. We made the big move on August 2, 2022. We left Brazil because of the violence and the high cost of living, which made it hard to get ahead. Like, I don't know anyone close to who was financially successful.

The Struggles

When we first arrived, I had to take on a lot of different jobs, including being a hairdresser's assistant. It was tough, and if I had known how hard it would be, I might have thought twice about moving. But things got better with time.

My Passion for brows

I truly love doing brows. It’s more than just a job for me; it’s my passion. Even with the challenges, I've kept going, and now, I’m enjoying what I do here in Toronto.

Looking Forward

We've been here for almost two years now. While I’m not a fan of summer (I didn’t like it much in Brazil either), I’m excited to see what the future holds. Thank you for taking the time to read about my journey. I'm here to help you achieve your perfect brows and share more of my story.
